Open Welsh 3000s Challenge

Each year, we run an open Welsh 3000s event which is open to all - participants can optionally raise money for any charity, without a minimum fundraising obligation.

Mountain guides to lead you around the route

Support vehicles to provide refreshments at the meeting points, and a safe means to retire from the walk if required

Camping on Saturday night. Please see other accommodation if you'll be staying locally before or after.

Welsh 3000s itinerary

Saturday 7am Briefing and kit check
8am Climb Snowdon from Pen y Pass, including Gardedd Ugain
Around midday Descend to Nant Peris, where refreshments and water top-up are provided.
  Ascend the Glyderau, and summit Elidir Fawr, Y Garn, Glyder Fawr, Glyder Fach and Tryfan.
~6pm Descend to our campsite for the evening, where BBQ and soup provided.
Sunday 6am Early breakfast before ascending the Cardneddau - packed lunch provided.
Est. finish at 4pm Summit Pen Yr Ole Wen, Cardnedd Dafydd, Yr Elen, Carnedd Llewelyn, Foel Grach, Garnedd Uchaf and Foel Fras.
  Transport provided back to vehicles, and to Llandudno station.
