Policies, Guidance and Safeguarding

Box Hill, Surrey

This section brings together the guidance that underpins every Three Peaks Challenge Ltd event – from how we protect your booking to the environmental and safeguarding commitments we make on the hill. Each policy is reviewed at least annually, with urgent updates being published as soon as regulations, mountain conditions or industry practice change.

Use the links below to explore the policies most relevant to you. If you require the documents in an alternative format, please contact the team and we will be happy to help.

Terms & Conditions

Consumer Protection

Details of who we are, how long our registration service runs and the safeguards offered under UK consumer legislation.

Waiting list policy

Explains how and when we open waiting lists, the order offers are made in and what happens if a link expires without a booking.

Privacy & Cookies

Explains the information we collect, how we use it to deliver your challenge and the choices you have over marketing and tracking technologies.

Participation Statement

The personal responsibilities that come with tackling a serious mountain challenge, including the need for suitable fitness, kit and decision making.

Environmental Policy

Our approach to minimising the impact of group events on the upland environments and communities that host them.

Sustainability Policy

How we reduce waste, emissions and supply-chain impacts across operations, and the practical steps you will see on event day.

Safeguarding & Wellbeing

Sets out how we protect children, young people and vulnerable adults, including reporting lines and how our leaders manage welfare concerns.

Staying informed

We publish revision dates on every policy page. Material updates – such as a change to the payment schedule or a new reporting pathway – are communicated directly to affected customers via the email address linked to their booking. Historic versions are available on request for auditing purposes.

Not sure which policy you need? Start with the Terms & Conditions for booking information, and the Consumer Protection and Privacy policies for your legal rights. Our team can walk you through any of the documents if you contact us ahead of your event.
