CSR-focused company challenge planning
For CSR leads planning a single company challenge, decide booking format first, then build fundraising around the confirmed date.
Pick a charity and commit
Most CSR delays come from leaving charity selection too late.
If your company already has a charity partner, use it. If not, pick one with a clear link to your team and confirm quickly so training and fundraising can start.
If you are booking through a charity partner, use their booking link. If not, contact us and we will confirm the right booking route.
Fundraising
A team of 30 with a £150 per-person target raises £4,500 before matched giving. If your company matches pound-for-pound, that becomes £9,000 from one event.
For delivery detail, including matched giving and payroll giving, use the company fundraising plan.
Gift Aid
If donors are UK taxpayers, Gift Aid adds 25p per £1 at no extra cost. On £4,500, that is an extra £1,125.
Online platforms handle this automatically when donors opt in. Paper forms need complete Gift Aid declarations.
Booking
Guided dates work for small company groups across all challenge formats. Private events are usually National 8+, Welsh 8+, and Yorkshire around 30+. Start with private bookings and dates if you need your own date.
