Frequently Asked Questions about our organised National Three Peaks Challenge events
-
How do we book for a group?
Either, proceed with a single booking for all your group members. We'll send you a participant form link to share with your group. You'll need to arrange payments amongst yourselves.
Or, book for yourself (and any close group members), and we'll give you a group booking link to share - anyone who uses that link to book will be grouped with you as normal on the challenge, but be responsible for their own payments and forms.
-
When & where are toilets available?
Toilets are available at the start of each route, and we'll stop at service stations half way on each drive section.
-
Is there a minimum age to take part in the National Three Peaks Challenge?
We can accommodate participants of 14 years-of-age and over - please check with us in advance of booking for participants under 18. We generally require that participants who are under 18 are accompanied by a parent.

What time will we arrive in Chester afterwards?
We expect to arrive in Chester late morning, but we can sometimes be delays by traffic or weather. We suggest booking any train tickets without a fixed time if possible, or for 2pm onwards to be safe.
-
Can I bring my dog?
Not on our Open National challenges. On our organised events, as we spend time in the minibus with other group members, dogs cannot attend — but, they're very welcome on our Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge and Surrey Three Peaks Challenge events.
-
How many people come on each event?
Our Open National Three Peaks Challenges range from 20 to around 50 participants, and we travel in groups of around 10 walkers per minibus.
-
What about travel sickness?
We'll expect to spend 10-11 hours in the minibus, and some of the roads are winding. If you suffer from travel sickness, you may want to consider suitable medicine - check with your doctor.
