Mountain-Specific Considerations
Weather conditions vary significantly between the three peaks. Check conditions before you set out:
- Ben Nevis - Snow can persist until May. Expect wind chill at the summit even in summer.
- Scafell Pike - Rocky terrain makes sturdy boots essential. Check the Scafell Pike weather forecast.
- Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) - Well-maintained paths but can be busy. Consider the different route options.
