What we need from charity teams
To confirm dates and advise on format, send a short planning brief with your challenge choice, expected numbers, date window and primary contact.
The short version
- Which challenge you want (or your top two).
- Approximate supporter numbers, even a range.
- Your preferred month and a backup.
- One main contact for your campaign.
Group size
A rough range is enough to start, for example "30-50 supporters." If you're not sure about numbers, let us know your target and whether you're in early recruitment or later stages.
Date window
Give us a preferred month and a backup. Summer weekends (June-September) book earliest. If you have flexibility on midweek dates, availability is usually better.
The charity fundraising events pages show current date availability for each challenge. If you have internal deadlines, tell us so we can work backwards from them.
Main contact
Tell us who the main contact is for your campaign. We can include more than one contact per event, but we need one lead for logistics, date confirmation and event-day details.
Common questions
- What if a supporter drops out? Tell us early so we can adjust plans while options are still open.
- What if it rains? Events continue in rain! Alterations may be required in case of high winds, lightning or flooding.
- What if we miss minimum numbers? Tell us early; we may be able to adjust format or merge dates.
- Can we change date? Sometimes, but changes are much easier before leaders and logistics are finalised.
