Affric Kintail Way

Affric Kintail Way

Through Scotland's Finest Glen

The Affric Kintail Way crosses 44 miles from Drumnadrochit on Loch Ness to Morvich near the west coast, passing through Glen Affric, widely considered the most beautiful glen in Scotland. This challenging route traverses ancient Caledonian pine forest, mountain passes, and remote Highland terrain.

The trail reaches its high point at the Bealach an Sgairne before descending through Kintail towards the sea. With limited accommodation options and genuine wilderness character, the Affric Kintail Way offers experienced walkers an immersive journey through landscapes that epitomise the grandeur of the Scottish Highlands.
