Joining a Guided Challenge
On our guided events, you make your own way to Fort William where the challenge begins. We provide all transport between mountains and finish in North Wales with a transfer to Chester station.
Getting to Fort William
By Train
Travel via Glasgow with a change onto the West Highland Line:
- Birmingham New Street → Glasgow Central: ~4 hours
- Glasgow Queen Street → Fort William: ~4 hours
- Total journey: ~8 hours with connection
By Air
Fly from Birmingham Airport to Glasgow or Edinburgh:
- Birmingham → Glasgow: 1 hour flight
- Glasgow Airport → Fort William: 100 miles / 2.5 hours
Getting Home from Chester
Our guided events finish with a transfer to Chester station – approximately 1.5 hours by train back to Birmingham.
